Frequently Asked Questions
What size quilts can you accomodate?
My longarm studio frame is 12' wide, and I am able to load king size quilts with no problem. Any size goes! If you have any questions about sizes, please reach out.
What are your quilting rates?
Quilting fee is $0.022 per square inch, and I have a $40 minimum per project. Some pantographs have a quilting fee of $0.03 per square inch, due to the density and time required to quilt them. Those designs are marked with **.
I stock multiple types of batting for your projects and charge by the linear foot. To see the list of products that I currently have in stock, please look on the Longarm Quilting Services link under Fees. You are welcome to send your own batting with your quilt top, or if I can order it I am happy to.
What is your lead time?
Once received, my lead time for finishing your quilt is 2-3 weeks. I try hard to get it completed as quickly as possible, but I am quilting during my kiddos naptime and after bedtime so it may take me a few days to finish one quilt. Often I am able to complete your order much sooner. If you are up against a deadline, please let me know on your order form and I will do my best to meet it.
What thread do you use?
I’ve tested numerous types of thread in my machine, and I’ve found the most consistent success to be when using Glide 40 wt polyester thread. I have a variety of colors on hand, let’s chat about what color you’d like on your quilt!
Where do I ship my quilt?
Please carefully pack and ship your quilt top and backing to the address below:
Cashmere Mountain Quilt Co.
203 Skyline Dr.
Cashmere, WA 98815
How will you return my quilt?
If your quilt is a mail-in order, I will return ship it via USPS. Cost for return shipping will be as low as I possibly can, but I prefer to use priority mail. When filling out your order form, please make sure to provide your accurate mailing address, as this is the address I will return the quilt to.
